BTRC Seminar Sessions

2024-2025 BTRC SoCial Studies Seminar Strand

The Buffalo Teacher Center has been a viable and effective influence in the District since 1978. The programs and services offered respond to the needs of teachers and students. The courses evolve from needs assessments, teacher requests and the leadership of the Teacher Center Policy Board. The steady support of the teachers has underlined the value of the Teacher Center in providing thousands of hours of professional learning, serving hundreds of teachers. Our partnership with Staff Development has developed into many partnerships with our BPS departments. We continue to work with higher education institutions and the other 16 Teacher Centers in the Far West Consortium. Involvement with the other 125 Teacher Centers within NYS allows us to utilize all the expertise of our statewide partners who share our philosophy of teachers helping teachers for the good of our students.
